Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is a crowdfunding tool conducted entirely on the blockchain wherein new project sells their underlying tokens in exchange for Cryptocurrencies to potential investors in the project. During the crowdfunding campaign, investors purchase tokens with already established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
